Almost Skateboards
Almost Skateboards was founded in 2003 by skate legends Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. Emerging from their previous ventures—Mullen's work with Enjoi and Song's with Artafact—the duo sought to create a brand that pushed the boundaries of skateboarding innovation and style.
Based in El Segundo, California, Almost quickly became known for its groundbreaking deck technologies, including the Über Light, Impact Support, and Double Impact series. These innovations combined advanced materials like carbon fiber with traditional wood to produce lighter, stronger, and more durable boards.
The brand's team roster has featured some of the most influential skaters in the industry, including Chris Haslam, Ryan Sheckler, and Lewis Marnell. Their video productions, such as Round Three, Cheese & Crackers, and 5-Incher, showcased the team's exceptional talent and creativity.
